As you have most likely heard, gay marriage is now legal in the United States by decree of the Supreme Court. Okie doke. If you’re opposed to the Supreme Court making the decision vs each state, that’s a whole different conversation.
BUT, if you’re opposed to gay marriage because … well, why are you opposed? The arguments I have heard seem to come back to the same one: something something Christian something something God something something.
If that’s the case, allow me to present my side: It’s a government law, which is very different from a church law. In other words, whatever your belief system is, I’m not arguing that (beliefs) with you.
