Happy Birthday to Me!

Today, dear friends, is my birthday! What better way to celebrate than by going to work, working out, working on some blog stuff, playing video games, and my lord I’m boring, aren’t I?

Thankfully this past weekend my girlfriend and I (what? that’s right, I have a girlfriend) made cake pops! Robot ones. My sister got me this kit to make them as a birthday gift so … here we go.

Cake Pop Empty Tray

Robots and cake have gone together for years now.

Cake Pops Ready to Rock

I thought about trying to do a puppet show out of the cake pops, but … See, I recently bought a new video game and priorities are important. (Speaking of which, SMU is currently ranked 21 in the nation. BOO YAH NOT REAL AT ALL VIDEO GAME WORLD!)

Cake Pops Pre Decorating

Robots with love handles?

Cake Pops Decorated

Beautiful!!

Cake Pop Sexbot

This one was my pride and joy as far as decorating goes – it’s a sexbot. See, I’m all grown up now!

Birthday Cake

With the leftover batter this beauty was made. I was trying to decorate it when the red frosting splat open so … naturally it became a large, open head wound. Who’s ready to dive in!?

  1. YESSSSS!!! I knew those cakebots would not go to waste on you. It’s so true, robots and cakes HAVE gone together for years. Ask NASA.

  2. Happy Birthday!
Botcakes, cupcakes, crab cakes, I’m in!

  3. Gruesome that last one is.
Happy birthday Brad! I guess you turned off the facebook notifications so if not for this post I wouldn’t have been able to offer said birthday greeting.
Hope you have an awesome day!
