Beautiful Colorado

We drove to the top of Pike’s Peak (14,000+ feet up there!) which was frightening at times but awesome.

This pizza was fantastic. And they gave you honey to finish off the large non-pizza’d part of the crust!

A calm, peaceful location! (That was not the case for the whole river, which was quick moving at parts due to lots of rain recently.)
Recently the lady and I headed to the Texas hill country to admire the wildflowers before they disappear til next March. As part of this we drove to Wildseed Farms which grows the wildflowers, gets the seeds and then sells them. A very clever business idea because who would think to profit off of something that grows naturally? But what Texan can refuse buying some bluebonnet seeds?
