Dear Ellen,
I love this painting.
I also love seeing impressionist paintings and saying, “oh my GOD! My vision! What’s wrong – everything’s blurry!!!”
There’s just something nice about the tour guide’s disapproving look and hearing someone mutter about, “the idiot youth of America.”

She has to appreciate this one. Clearly you’re the person to go to a gallery with.
It would be weird when I request that she and I go to the gift store so I can buy post cards to send to her. Weird because I would make the request while not wearing pants.
